About me
I'm Simone, a biomedical engineer and medtech entrepreneur working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine, based in Rome, Italy.
I'm a PhD student in the Italian National PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Health and Life Sciences at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, researching computer vision and clinical decision support systems for early skin cancer detection. I'm also Founder and CTO of two startups: globalTone, an AI-based dermoscopy platform (SaaS & SaMD), and Eureka, an AI-powered expert-matching platform — owning technology strategy, AI model development, and product engineering from research prototype to market-ready solution in both.
I've been part of the development team of PACY from the first line of code to launch, a generative-AI cybersecurity platform born from a collaboration with Google.org, and co-author of peer-reviewed publications with IEEE and Springer on AI in medicine and cybersecurity.
I am a strong advocate for interdisciplinary collaboration and believe that the future of healthcare lies in the integration of technology and medicine. My goal is to combine project-leading skills with technical expertise and creativity to deliver solutions that are both functional and transformative — bringing precision, innovation, and a personal touch to every project I undertake. Let's work together to turn ideas into reality!
